MSU Care services and capabilities include:

  • Limited mental health
  • Basic lab and X-ray
  • Medication by formulary
  • Basic prevention and screening
  • Limited acute care capability
  • Limited transportation
  • Mental Health counseling
  • Nutrition counseling

Examples of chronic healthcare available:

  • Diabetes
  • Thyroid
  • Depression/Anxiety
  • Gout
  • Hypertension
  • GERD
  • Birth control for medical disease management only

Acute healthcare procedures:

  • Minor lacerations requiring single layer closure
  • Skin tag removal
  • Wart removal
  • I/D Abscess
  • Cyst or lipoma removals
  • Toenail removal

Services Not Provided:

  • Birth control
  • Controlled substance prescriptions
  • Care for severe mental illness

Services Not Available:

  • MO DOT physicals
  • Disability testing/paperwork
  • Workman's compensation
  • Mental health needing specialty care (see above)
  • Drug testing
  • Pregnancy care
    • Immunizations and STD testing—refer to community agencies
